I have always felt nursing was a calling and I have always been grateful it called to me. In 1983, I graduated from Motlow State Community College Nursing Program, providing me opportunities to work in the hospital as a nurse educator and as a case manager. I expanded my experience working in long term care, home health and in later years working in hospice care. I am married with three beautiful daughters, six amazing grandchildren, several grand dogs and one grand cat.
